Tornado watch in effect in Southwest and Central Virginia

RONAOKE, Va. (WFXR)– The Nationwide Climate Service has issued a twister watch in areas of Central and Southwest Virginia.

A watch means circumstances are favorable for the event of tornadoes. Listed here are the counties and cities in our area underneath the twister watch:

• Pittslyvania County
• Henry County
• Halifax County
• Henry County
• Carroll County
• Floyd County
• Montgomery County
• Franklin County
• Roanoke County
• Metropolis of Martinsville
• Metropolis of Lynchburg
• Metropolis of Galax
• Metropolis of Radford
• Metropolis of Roanoke
• Metropolis of Salem

The Nationwide Climate Service has put this into impact till 11 p.m. on April 11.
