London Marathon 2024 results: Peres Jepchirchir breaks women’s-only world record as Alexander Mutiso Munyao wins men’s elite race

A colorectal surgeon has vowed to have “enjoyable” working her third London Marathon whereas carrying a “ridiculous” poo emoji outfit.

Emma Davies, 46, who works at Lancaster Royal Infirmary, is working the race on Sunday in assist of Bowel Analysis UK.

She stated the charity was near her coronary heart as she sees the devastating affect of bowel illness every day.

Whereas dressing as an enormous poo was “not a life goal”, she stated, it was an “honour to run for an incredible charity”.

She stated: “I used to be fortunate to get a spot once more. It is an unimaginable ambiance.

“lt’ll be enjoyable and it’s such a superb charity to lift cash for and to lift consciousness of bowel illness.”
