Israel Kills Three Sons & Four Grandchildren of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh
As negotiations over a Gaza ceasefire proceed in Cairo, Israeli forces killed three sons and 4 grandchildren of Hamas’s political chief Ismail Haniyeh in an airstrike in central Gaza on Wednesday. Haniyeh spoke to Al Jazeera shortly after the assault.
Ismail Haniyeh: “They consider that in the event that they kill or assassinate leaders or their subsequent of kin, that we are going to abandon our folks, that we are going to abandon our resistance. They’re mistaken. This noble blood that’s spilled, together with my very own kids, will harden our resolve, make us extra defiant, extra adamant to proceed to march on this highway, the highway of wrestle and resistance, till we win our freedom and the lawful rights of the Palestinian peoples are restored.”
