Swanage care home: Woman arrested following three deaths
About 40 residents from the house, run by Agincare, had been seen being transferred, some in wheelchairs, to All Saints Church a brief distance away.
Dorset Council stated it was working with the house and different businesses to assist the residents of the care residence.
“Most of the residents are weak folks with vital care wants, and so we’re working with them to grasp learn how to meet their wants within the brief time period and determine their subsequent steps,” it stated on Wednesday.
In an earlier assertion, Agincare stated it has allotted “further staffing sources” to offer assist after an incident on the website, and that residents moved to a village corridor and church are “protected and effectively”.
They stated: “We admire that it is a nerve-racking and worrying time for these concerned, and have allotted further staffing sources to offer assist domestically. We’re contacting and updating residents’ households.
“We’ll proceed to work with the lead native authority companies to return residents into their residence on the earliest alternative, and can present additional updates sooner or later.”
