Strictly Come Dancing: Wynne Evans apologises for 'inappropriate' comment at tour

“We weren’t beforehand conscious of the comment and didn’t obtain any complaints,” the spokesperson added.

Evans starred in BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing with dance associate Katya Jones final 12 months. He is now collaborating within the sequence tour throughout the UK, with the final of the 30 performances scheduled for 9 February.

The BBC Radio Wales presenter didn’t dance throughout Saturday’s present in Glasgow due to an ankle harm, although he did sing.

The Strictly Stay Tour spokesperson stated that Evans can be singing on the matinee present on Sunday, and each dancing and singing in night present.

Evans’ behaviour through the present attracted consideration from viewers over what some described as awkward incidents. This included Jones showing to show down a high-five from Evans and transfer his hand from her waist throughout an episode in October.

The duo later stated the high-five second was a “operating joke” between them, whereas Jones stated it was “full nonsense” that Evans’ hand on her waist “made me really feel uncomfortable or offended me in any approach”.
