Singapore Airlines flight encounters severe turbulence leaving 1 dead, dozens injured

The pilot then declared a medical emergency and diverted the flight to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok.

A Singapore Airways workforce is headed to Bangkok to offer further help, and the airline stated it was working with native authorities on the investigation.
