Monopoly’s historical links to Leeds suburb revealed in exhibition
The exhibition, which goals to be each academic and enjoyable, marks the beginning of a Monopoly “takeover” of Leeds this summer season.
Enterprise group LeedsBID has organised a “first of its form” immersive expertise within the metropolis, which rolls out between 27 July and 1 September.
The free, family-orientated expertise goals to deliver the property buying and selling recreation to life, utilizing key areas and landmarks across the metropolis. Based on LeedsBID, the sport will problem gamers to resolve a collection of visible, mathematical and phrase puzzles “in a bid to purchase again the town”.
Andrew Cooper, chief govt of LeedsBID stated: “With its house in Leeds, Waddingtons was instrumental in bringing the London streets to many houses – we sit up for households seeing Leeds’ personal Outdated Kent Highway, Pall Mall and Mayfair.”
