Los Angeles County residents get evacuation warning in error
LOS ANGELES − Residents throughout Los Angeles County obtained an faulty evacuation warning as fires proceed to blaze throughout Southern California.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn mentioned in a submit on X that the warning was supposed to be for areas impacted by the Kenneth Hearth that sparked within the western San Fernando Valley Thursday afternoon.
Hahn known as the wrong warning a “technical error.”
The Los Angeles Metropolis Emergency Administration Division confirmed the error in a submit on X and mentioned evacuation orders haven’t modified.
A correction was issued at 4:19 p.m. PST.

Evacuation orders in place for the Kenneth Hearth as of 4:30 p.m. PST stretch from simply east of Paolo Comado Canyon Street on the west to Hidden Hills, based on Cal Hearth.
