Child Reindeer star Jessica Gunning has praised Richard Gadd’s bravery in creating and starring within the Emmy-nominated Netflix sequence.
The darkish comedy thriller is among the many British reveals hoping to win massive on the star-studded 76th Emmy Awards ceremony, having secured a complete of 11 nominations.
Scottish comic Gadd is up for 3 gongs for performing, writing and producing whereas Gunning, who performs stalker Martha Scott, has been nominated for excellent supporting actress in a restricted or anthology sequence.
The present, which sees Gadd’s character Donny Dunn stalked by Gunning’s character, hit the headlines after a girl claiming to be the inspiration behind Martha filed a lawsuit in opposition to Netflix, alleging the story is inaccurate.
