LAWRENCE, Kan. — A Kansas decide on Friday ordered College of Illinois basketball standout Terrence Shannon Jr. to face trial on a rape cost following testimony from a lady who mentioned she was “terrified” as she was being assaulted.
Shannon, 23, of Champaign, Illinois, is accused of committing sexual assault on Sept. 9, in Lawrence, Kansas. The Lawrence Journal-World reported that Shannon was in Lawrence that day to look at a soccer recreation between the Illini and the College of Kansas.
He has been charged with rape or an alternate rely of sexual battery. The cost led to Shannon being suspended for six video games earlier than a federal decide reinstated him, ruling his civil rights had been violated.
