Ghostbusters film fans stage charity pub walk for Halloween
The West Midlands Ghostbusters – a group group of devotees of the hit film franchise – hit the streets of their fits, armed with proton packs, for a charity stroll stopping off at an array of supposedly haunted pubs alongside the way in which.
The stroll, on the afternoon of Saturday October 26, was organised to lift funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice in Oldswinford.
Beginning out from Himley Corridor, the workforce – comprising round 15 males, ladies and youngsters – stopped off at a number of supposedly haunted watering holes alongside the way in which.
The movie followers stopped off at The Dudley Arms, The Queens Head and The Previous Cat at Wordsley, The Ravenous Rascal at Amblecote, The Unicorn in Wollaston and The Talbot Resort in Stourbridge and The Crabmill at Oldswinford – ending their journey on the hospice just some doorways away.
Group member Steve Robbins, from Rowley Regis, mentioned the occasion had proved a “nice day”.
He informed the Information: “Saturday went good, we did rather well.
“I’d like to provide a particular because of the hospice for serving to me arrange an incredible day and a giant because of all of the venues we visited – a particular point out to the Crabmill, our remaining location, for the meals and drinks they placed on for us) and lastly a giant because of Jason from Hawk-Eye Imaginative and prescient for coming with us all day to {photograph} it for us.”
