F-35 crashes at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska as pilot ejects safely

An Air Power F-35 fighter jet crashed at Eielson Air Power Base in Alaska on Tuesday because the pilot ejected safely, officers stated.

The plane incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at roughly 12:49 p.m. and resulted in “vital plane injury,” based on a press release launched by 354th Fighter Wing Public Affairs.

Navy officers stated that stopping on the Richardson Freeway, the highway adjoining to Eielson AFB, “poses a security threat and impedes restoration efforts” and reminded those that federal legislation prohibits any pictures alongside that stretch of freeway.
