Paperboy hat-donning Richard Goodall, the self-proclaimed “singing janitor” from Indiana who auditioned with an emotional rendition of Journey’s “Do not Cease Believin'” that went viral, took residence the highest prize throughout the “AGT” finale Tuesday evening.

The powerhouse vocalist, who received Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer, beat out 9 different finalists, together with gravity-defying Tanzanian acrobats Hakuna Matata Acrobats, Zimbabwean slapstick comedian Learnmore Jonasi and Japanese dance group AIRFOOTWORKS.
