Woman in her 40s dies at Isle of Wight festival campsite | Isle of Wight

A girl in her 40s has died on the Isle of Wight competition campsite. Hampshire and Isle of Wight constabulary was alerted concerning the dying on Thursday on the occasion, which is being held in Seaclose Park, Newport.

A police spokesperson mentioned: “We had been referred to as at 10.51am yesterday to a report of a sudden dying within the campsite of Isle of Wight competition.

“A girl in her 40s has been confirmed as deceased and her household are conscious. This isn’t being handled as suspicious and a file can be ready for the coroner.”

A competition spokesperson mentioned: “The crew on the Isle of Wight competition are deeply saddened by the passing of a festivalgoer on Thursday morning. Our ideas and deepest condolences are together with her household and pals.”
