Staffordshire Police say they’re liaising with Tamworth FC after striker Chris Wreh was subjected to racist abuse on social media after his facet’s FA Cup defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.
Wreh was a second-half substitute within the third-round tie, which Tottenham finally received 3-0 after additional time.
The 28-year-old took to social media after the sport to share a screenshot of the abuse he had acquired on Instagram.
