Keep It Cool: Jalen Hurts Foundation raises over $100k for cooling upgrades in Philly schools
PHILADELPHIA – Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has given followers a purpose to cheer a little bit louder when he scores a landing this season.
Each time Hurts scores a landing this season, his basis has donated $5k to its Hold It Cool initiative that gives air con in Philly public colleges.
With 22 touchdowns on the season, together with two towards the Dallas Cowboys, the initiative surpassed the $100k milestone with eight weeks left within the common season.
Ten colleges within the College District of Philadelphia obtained new air conditioners and upgrades final 12 months that helped over 5,000 college students and employees beat the summer time warmth.
