Banksy reveals second new animal-themed artwork in London | UK News
Banksy has unveiled a brand new art work in London – the artist’s second in two days.
The most recent work by the Bristol-based road artist options the silhouettes of two elephants with their trunks stretched out in the direction of one another.
It’s painted on what seems to be two blocked-up home windows on the facet of a home on the junction of Edith Terrace and Edith Grove in Chelsea.
The looks of the elephants comes after the artist claimed to have created the art work of a goat, perched on high of a skinny wall in Kew Bridge, west London, on Monday.
The silhouette of the animal is accompanied by rocks falling from the ledge and a CCTV digicam, at occasions pointing in the direction of it.
Claiming he created the elephant art work by posting it on his official Instagram account, Banksy – whose id isn’t recognized – didn’t write a caption alongside it, inflicting followers to take a position its which means.
Many advised that it’s a trace to the phrase the “elephant within the room” which is used to deal with an apparent downside or troublesome scenario that individuals don’t need to speak about – a nod to Banksy’s usually satirical art work which typically attracts on points in politics and philosophy.
Whereas one other mentioned the elephants reaching in the direction of one another might symbolise “the method of therapeutic and reconciliation”.
In June, an artwork set up of a migrant boat, which was put into the crowds at Glastonbury Competition, drew criticism from then dwelling secretary James Cleverly.

However the artist mentioned the politician’s response was “a bit excessive”.
Banksy added that the actual boat he funded being detained by Italian authorities after rescuing unaccompanied youngsters at sea, was really what was “vile and unacceptable”.
