Spain’s Morata suffers ‘knock’ in clash with security guard
MUNICH, Germany — Spain striker Álvaro Morata had a scare when a stadium safety guard accidently slammed into his proper leg after his crew beat France within the European Championship semifinals on Tuesday.
Morata was in apparent ache after the guard — who was pursuing a fan who had acquired on to the sphere — slipped and slid into the participant’s proper leg.
Spain’s captain was clearly hobbling whereas attempting to benefit from the 2-1 win over France.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente mentioned that Morata had taken a “knock” throughout what he known as a “second of extreme euphoria” by the fan. However he added that “we do not suppose it’s something” critical.
Morata had already been substituted within the 76th minute.
Spain will face England or the Netherlands in Sunday’s ultimate in Berlin.
Morata, 31, has scored one aim and began 5 of Spain’s six video games on the event.
