France full again Melvyn Jaminet has been suspended from the nationwide workforce after posting a video on social media with a racist remark, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) mentioned on Sunday.
The 25-year-old, who performs for High 14 membership Toulon, was seen saying, “the primary Arab I come throughout, I’ll throw him a headbutt,” in a video that was broadly shared lately.
The French workforce are presently taking part in in a summer season tour in Argentina.
“FFR strongly condemns the remarks made by Melvyn Jaminet in a video lately posted on social networks. Such feedback are completely unacceptable and opposite to the elemental values of our sport,” the FFR mentioned in a press release.
“Consequently, Melvyn Jaminet has been suspended with instant impact and is leaving the France squad presently in Argentina.”
Jaminet apologised for his feedback in a publish on Instagram.
