SOUTHWEST FLIGHT MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN FLORIDA DUE TO TURBULENCE

Singapore Airways stated 18 folks wanted to be hospitalized, and one other 12 have been handled in native hospitals. The remaining passengers and crew have been being examined and handled.

There have been 211 passengers from 17 international locations, together with the U.S., and 18 crew members on board the flight when the incident occurred.

“Singapore Airways provides its deepest condolences to the household of the deceased,” the airline stated. “We deeply apologize for the traumatic expertise that our passengers and crew members suffered on this flight. We’re offering all mandatory help throughout this tough time.”

A Singapore Airways workforce is headed to Bangkok to offer further help, and the airline stated it was working with native authorities on the investigation.
